THE BATTLE OF THE MUPPETS I (A Muppet Uprising)

INTRODUCTION



In a time when the Muppets ruled the Ancient World after hundreds of years of battles and wars, a Grand Muppet Council of the noblest and most couragious Muppets had brought peace to theses lands.
With the power they had so galantly fought for they now found themselves hoistered above mere laborers and drudges, in castles and palaces that offered them the riches of the lands and of the people. At first they used these riches to protect the borders of the Muppets homelands, but with this power they swelled their bellies, their pockets and raised the taxes to build grander armies, greater palaces and statues of themselves.

The Muppets of the land at first accepted the hard labours and bad conditions, as the kingdom was united. But with time and no improvements, the Muppets finding the riches they had earned for everyone, was being taken to feed the Elite whom ruled these lands. A Muppet Uprising was building in the huts and labour quaters of the Muppet Slumbers...

A few Muppets from the slave labour camps united to overthrow the Muppet Royal Council and hence bring forth riches for all Muppets and sharing to all Muppets no matter their class or their duties.

A Muppet Uprising had begun...

THE MUPPETS SCRIBE - THE MUPPET UPRISING (PART 1)



The Muppets Uprising first began at the neaby International Muppet Silo Field Code Name: Countdown.
The fighting was close and dirty and the surprise element at first favoured the Revolutionary Serfs, but with time the loyals to the Muppet Council managed to contain the Serfs and bring about a close fought victory.
The Muppet Council Hero was Malfius who managed to pick off most of the Serfs even against such difficult odds.

After the Muppet Council's first victory the Serf Revolution took the war to the Backlots of Old Muppet Town.
The backstreet combat favoured the Serf Muppets and they managed to hold the streets and defeat the Council's assault forces. The defence of the Muppets Serfs was immence and well positioned. The Council was humbly defeated and the taste of victory was the air the Serf Muppets needed to bring forth courage and confidence.

After the victory of the Backlot streets of Old Muppet Town. The Serf Revolutionaries took the war back to the Council and assaulted the Council's Crash Border Headquaters.
The fighting was dirty and ferocious. The screams of Muppets and explosions of rockets could be heard from miles a far.
The battle swung from Council to Serfs and with time running low the Council had the edge in the battle that looked just too much for the Serfs to recover from. But from the midst a hero appeared from the gun smoke clouds. Dressed in Muppinator armour he tore apart the Council and brought forth victory in the closing seconds for the Muppet Serfs. A shocking defeat for the Council after touching the spectral delights of near victory.

Shocked from the last 2 defeats the Council sent out the Council Forces to defend the Council's Oil Pipelines.
The battle was hard fought and brave Muppets on both sides lost their lifes. For much of the game the Muppet Council had the lead in the battle but galantly the Muppet Serfs managed to sneak the lead in the closing moments of the battle. The Council pushed hard and fought to a Muppets hair of victory but the Serfs just managed to fend off any come back from the Grand Muppet Council's warriors.

The battle of the Muppets in Old Town and the Uprising of the Serf Muppets was a virtual victory.
The final battle for Old Town was at the Town Centre on Crossfire Street.
This would cement a easy victory and the first part of the Muppets At War Saga.
The Council was in disarray and the Muppet Soldiers of the Council had lost all confidence in its ability to defeat the Muppet separtists.
With panic in their eyes the Muppet Serfs found an easy victory and destroyed all of the Muppet targets to bring a final Muppet Serf Victory.
This defeat pushed The Muppet Council out of Muppet Old Town and was the first big victory for the Revolutionary Serfs.

Cheers looking back at it now we got stuffed but some rounds were very very close.
I think losing the headquaters round after looking like we had it in the bag in the last minute was the round that undid us. I think they united and we just lost it and didnt play as a team like we would usually.

Anyway end of week I'll post a Clan Sign Up for the second one.
This time the Council gets one more member.

That was my first one, so no idea how it would normally go,,,, but it seemed we (me being we on a trial basis) went to pot after the first game. Dunno, over confidence mabey after winning the opening??? I must admit I expected to win as I was playing with the council... assumption being the mother of all fuckups!!!
Then we lost domination ( that hurt personally as its my favorite game type). And we lost it by some margin.
Then it was HQ. Id never played that before.. was pretty cool and very close, may put extreme conditioning on for that next time.
Then came the pipeline death match which was a coin flip,,, very very close,,, wish my airstrike had of got someone, and wish my helicopter was rocket proof. Couldve made the difference.
Anyway that put em 3-1 up, they couldnt lose, we couldnt win which I think reflected in the 4-0 battering we took.
All in all, was a great night, two very close fights, one comfortable win each, and im deciding to delete the search and destroy whitwash from my mind.
AND would just like to say Hodgy was the bane of my existance all night!!! Will be hoping for a cruel revenge on the next outing!

Ego chap you did well for us and usually it goes a little better.
It was our fault we got whooped as we was far too confident and had no tactics or plans and you could see the Serfs definately had some good tactics working.

The rematch will be interesting as the extra person on objective based modes are a big help while in team deathmatch it actually works against you.

For all the fact that I was rather........ineffectual, for our side (the bestest winningest side-aroony in the cosmiverse!!!) I will however donate my organs for the next battle.
