played quite a few times, love the game but i always seem to get dragged into COD4 or GAW2 with friends....gonna take you up on that real soon, though my skills wont let me go above the first two skill levels...though i downloaded L4D2 today and that seems brilliant as well

Well well seems no one has yet signed up to XGL for this L4D tournament yet...

Looks like we might have to break the virginity and sign up first!!!! Of course im guessing the reason most people aint/wont sign up is CodMod2.. But if we enter a team and it dont go anywhere then we aint lost anything

I seriously think that whoever is on the team to represent muppets needs to practice practice practice

1. need to know the maps
2. needs to work as a team
3. needs to know how the people they are playing with play
4. needs to practice playing the infected and understand how best o utilize them
5. needs to realize than in vs. its not about checking out evey room it's about getting to the safe room as quickly as possible with as much life as possible

one of the problems is L4D is seriously underplayed by people here - plenty of people here religiously play COD4 or GOW2 and thats how they get good they know the game inside and out - they know how their teammates play and they build strategy around that - on some levels L4D is even more team based - you have to work as a team

so I think before this match there should be lots of practice not just as survivors but as the infected

yeah totally.... I myself am guilty at prioritising GOW2... but the person that does this must be committed.... but remember its 4 fun.... if ur not enjoying it... what's the point

I think you have seriously misunderstood something - for a start I don't play games to win - I play for fun I've been playing video games since I was 6 or 7 (re pong and the atari 2600) it's only ever me against the machine.

the thing is if its a muppets vs muppets game then its daft and silly - even I will participate in doodie or Halo 3 tournies for a laugh although I'm crap at both but I wouldn't enter in a clan match against another clan with either of those games - the point is its hard to work out a strategy to take down the other team if someone on the team doesn't know what buttons to use to control the infected - because then you are having to teach someone how to play the game when they should already know how to play it.

you should Hugh its a fun game - I'm always up for a game of vs or one of the campaigns - you may have to drag me away from the somewhat 2000AD world of Borderlands though
