XGL vs MWG - Gears 2

Hi guys i would like to get a challenge over on gears 2 before mw2 starts taking over how is the following:

day and time: Sunday 8th of November at 9pm

5v5
Execution
best of 5 maps
first to 5 rounds per map
MLG settings (same used in curbstomp tourny)

thanks 4 the challenge.... we have a new cheef so i'll let him get the word in.... but I personally love my hammerburst and therefore MLG settings disallows that.... naughty MLG

the first set of mlg settings used to be hammerburst only 2111

if mlg is an issue we can do default with a few swaps such as frags for inks

Cheers for the challenge Potleg I am sure we can sort something out. Webby and Bennett are the new Gears captains so will let them sort out with you.

Any news on MLG changing back to Hammerburst? I had heard they had done something to fix the rapid pad issue but not sure how true that is since everything else is still broke in TU5!!

Oh in that case I withdraw my previous objection, I dont normally use frags..... other ppl may think diferently

Cheers for the Challenge potleg, Don't think the majority here are too keen on MLG rules, happy to discuss a few swaps instead though, I don't think I'll be available to run this so will have a chat with webby (other gears chief) and see what we can sort, Hopefully be back to you tomorrow or later this evening.

Hi Potleg,

Cheers for the invite m8 - can't see sunday being a problem as i should have a copy of Gears by then (broke my copy of the game this week lol).

As long as the changes are just inks for nades and ff on we are ok with that. Also we mix it up with warzone and execution but are happy with just execution. Also which maps m8? Did you wana keep it with standard?

I will start a signup thread tonight and let you know but 99% sure we are ok for this.
