Bruce Willis To Star In Kane And Lynch movie

Producer, Adrian Askarieh, who is responsible for the Eidos and IO Interactive Hitman
franchise becoming a movie title (which also grossed over $100 Million
at the Worldwide Boxoffice) has confirmed that filming for the Kane
& Lynch Movie will begin in March 2010 having Bruce Willis staring as Kane.
Askarieh stated that the movie has been knocking around for several
years and that after a series of false starts, it is finally ready to
start production. Good Times.

“The script has been incredibly well-received around
town,” said Askarieh. “After Bruce Willis read it, he called it one of
the best action scripts he’s ever read, and Bruce is an expert in terms
of action scripts because he’s read everything over the last 20 years.”

Who shall have the role of Lynch? Another big actor? Casting for the role of Lynch is only about to start.
Askarieh also revealed that the film will feature the same basic
premise from the video game title, but further, leaving us expecting
something different.

“It’s not going to have every sequence from the game,
but it’s essentially the story of a mercenary teaming up with a
schizophrenic psychopath to save his wife and daughter,” he explained.

Simon Crane is set to direct the picture as Askarieh believes he’s just the man for the job.

“He’s a terrific guy and he’s one of the best people at
his craft in the business,” said Askarieh. “I cannot wait to see him
blow people away with Kane & Lynch.”

yeah dude this soudin great already shame it's gunna be a long wait tho.

I wonder if they'll get a much younger actor to play Lynch, to try and appeal to a wider audience.

He kind of looks like Kane so at least it suits, I think they'll probably go PC and give the lynch role to Jamie Foxx or some such silly argument hollywood would want to try and avoid.

I remember speculation that Billb bob Thornton was interested in playing Lynch.
