Fokk dees Prawns man!
I've seen it too. I did enjoy it but I built it up a bit too much for myself. I was expecting a serious look into humanity and how we treat each other and those who we have power over. What I got was an alien in a bra!

Re: district 9
It's certainly the best portrayal of a Sooth Efrican on film since Piet Morant had to put up with Alan Partridge's suggestions.

"No Alan, you can't!!"

Re: district 9
personally i thought this was shite, in my view boring for 3/4 of the film then 20 mins of action at the end ,couldnt stand the accents of the ppl involved(yes i understand it was in SA and therefore they should speak that way )but still it did my tree in . Also ended poor , should of just said to be continued at the end .

Re: district 9
I thought the ending was very sweet and heartfelt but for someone who wanted more than 20mins of action I can see where you had the problem
