Re: Rate the last film you watched
Downloaded and watched "9" yesterday, it was a good copy R5! I thought the story was OK and my eldest lad who's 8 thought it was great, but the girl who's 5 thought it was crap! Even though i told her it had doll's in it, to get her to watch it! Overall i thought it was a pretty decent kids film, 7/10 from me!

Took my daughter to see this yesterday. We both loved it, definately a must see for those who like Pixar animated movies. Great story, stunning visuals roll on Toy Story 3
Damn right, mate! The beginnig sequence was suprisingly emotional too... A few kids in the cinema were crying at that...

Watched "surrogates" the other night, reminded me of "I Robot" but was OK! Willis was his usual moody role and the story wasn't to bad but it seemed over very quickly and not that many action scenes or special effects in the film, they could have done it better! 7/10

Re: Rate the last film you watched
I watched Up, 9 and Surrogates this weekend and I agree with all said above, but 9 I would have given 8/10 just for being different and having not everything turn out nice in the end which most kids films cop out with (even "up" did it as pixar always do)
When I was a kid I weatched the Howling and that didn't turn out nice
I watched "Moon" this weekend too which was slow, spacey, all effects done with models and some cgi lighting, I guessed the story as it went. But the acting was top notch, and I love slow polly space operas, the special effects were brilliant as models and although the story was obvious it was sad and made the perfect Sunday morning movie. Great first time effort from David Bowie's kid. 7/10

Crank 2 8/10
Finally got round to watching this and as a fan of the first one I wasn't disappointed.
Filmed in a totally different way to what I explected, especially loved to homage to Godzilla movies!
More laughs in it than the first one and even the Mrs watched it with me and agreed.

Have any of you seen the film The Crying Game? With the woman with the old tadger. I suppose the sequel will have a man with, a fanny.

Have to agree with you about Shoot em up as well.
And it's on SKY Movies at the mo so if there's some boring girl stuff on I just flick over for half an hour and watch the shooty-shoots

Re: Rate the last film you watched
Yeah it is very over the top and very very silly but it makes me smile, especially from such a videogaming background, it's hard not to laugh when Paul Giamatti is ordering more goons on the phone and one company doesn't want to hire any more out as they keep dying.
The film makes gun fights out of the most improbable scenario's (while delivering a baby in the first 5 mins of the film) and makes carrots a deadly weapon. It's just hilarious!

Re: Rate the last film you watched
I watched Last Samurai again last night. It's a bit drawn-out but a very good film nonetheless. I think this might be a film that went under the radar considering it's a Tom Cruise film.

Re: Rate the last film you watched
Ohh and I saw Ong Bak 2 at the weekend. Now it could be because I'd had 8 cans of Carling but I was disappointed with it especially seeing as I love the first one and Warrior King. It was a little too confusing (though) I was drunk and the fight scenes seemed to be a bit to centred around weapons rather than a basterdised version of Muay Thai.
