POKER FUN I (TEXAS HOLD EM) WINNER = MACKAM

Well finally the Poker final was upon us and unfortionately due to a number of personal issues it was a poor turn out. Only Mackam, Sammiad and Focus made it to the final. This was however going to be a strong room as Mackam and Sammiad won their respective tables and it turns out Focus used to be a croupier (think that is how you spell it!!), FIX Mackam and Sammiad thought!!!!

Was good bit of banter in the room and from my point of view good to play with Focus as never really get the chance as he is dirty COD player!!

Game started well with Sammiad pretending he did not know the rules, but this was fooling no-one as that worked last time!!

Focus took an early lead at the expense of Mackam with a next set of 3 tens which nearly put Mackam to the wall. Mackam then went on the offensive trying to take Sammiads chips but Sam held strong and got back into it with a nice all in against Focus.

Things hotted up and Sammiad paid the price against Mackam who's host advantage was now taking effect

So down to one on one and Focus had the chip lead and the physiological edge as Mackam was worried playing a croupier!!

Focus played a strong game and Mackam tried a few bluffs but Focus was having none of it until eventually Mackam fell lucky and Focus raised preflop and Mackam had been delt a pair of pocket Queens. As long as nothing higher than a Queen dropped surely Mackam had the game, on the flop all low numbers dropped but there was the possibilty of a run. On the turn however Mackam hit gold street as he hit the host button and a Queen dropped!!

All in all a good game although a bit short due to the turn out but still good fun and from my side a good chance to play with muppets I do not normally in particular Focus since he does not play Gears.

Another bonus was Focus explaining to Mackam how to rob the Vegas casinos so if you find me not coming back I am probably buried alive in the Navada desert somewhere and its all Focuses fault!!

Cheers for the games guys and good banter, will need to do this again sometime and arrange it all in one night.

Nice lads nice.... we'll have to develope the Poker format,,, mabey a league,,, i seem to remember Dong suggesting that once apon a while ago.

that was a little blast and ill gladly play again.
but boy did i ever get hustled! mackam ,vegas in training, and focus , ex casino dealer, i was laying there hoping for a full table (a bit of a warm up...) and i just end up staring at cards tapping a button like "ohh pretty hand" .
everyones a winner though, medals all round lads ;)

Really good game had a great laugh with you two, hope to play again soon. Will have to brush up on my GOW2 skills and play abit with Makam. Cheers lads good times....

P.S. After admitting i was a croupier i had to let some one else win!! lol!
