Mabey a more hands on approach to new members/trialists. Not groping or sexual assault, thinking a more 'little brother' type thing. When I joined, it seemed that I had to make all the first moves, adding people, signing up to games etc. Although this was easy and 100% fine, i still often hesitated posting etc, coz im a delicate shy flower... felt i was encroaching. Mabey we could be a little more proactive in easing the new people into our happy little land. Could help any undecideds to stay on. Just for the first week or two then the orrible gits can fend for themselves.... as the clan grows, delegation may be in order.

Just a suggestion,, dont flog me in public again (damn youtube). Mabey you all do that anyway,,, its possible you only put up with me coz I have an unlimmited supply of smarties at my disposal.

My real suggestion is a tounament where you all stand in a line on COD and see how many bullets u can catch in your teeth. ( i need those headshots people)

I got talking to Kirst33n today after she posted about COD5 Beta codes... just a thankyou that led to a chat,,, shes been a forum member for over a month now. I was asking her how she felt about the forums considering she dosent play with us, just to get a different perspective. She said she didnt sign up to join the clan, coz and I quote ''I just play for fun, im not a serious gamer, although I do play a lot'

She obviously missed the point coz that pretty much fits the profile of what this place is about. I just thought mabey there are more like her out there in the forums allready. who dont feel comfortable enough to step up. Turns out shes a moderator in another forum,,, could be a good spot for her to pimp the muppets. The clan is growing nicely but mabey there are more resorses within to be maximised...

Mabey its worth drafting a standard message to send out to forum members,, they are allready interested coz they are here,,, might get a few more trialists from it,, worst case scenario, the forum members will feel more involved... so cant lose really,,, what do you think?

Pretty soon there'll be a waiting list to play here!!!

What about a special newbs night once a month, where we go easy on peeps to ease em in. Not that I need to be easy on anyone (a gnat with an rpg is still a gnat) - LOL. We could send out pm's over live to peeps inviting them to a meet, greet and shoot. more personal approach, and if we say it's gonna be all new peeps, it would be easier to join. - My thoughts anyways - Rob (The RPG Gnat)

Tis a good idea.
But how do you find enough new peeps and do you mean new peeps in just clan or anybody whos new.
We could have a newbie night which could entail a (1-2) veterans teaching newbie people the maps, modes, tips, weapons on certain games??? They could also help them rank up as in something like COD4 only ranked matches count to your score to rank up.
Does that sound good?

That sounds likle an idea, I wouldn't mind helpng some newbies out on COD4 in Ranked, Have a mate that I usually play Team tactical with so a 3rd player wouldn't hurt i wouldn't have thought. Get someone some experience and a bit of practice. I find its good for learning the maps as well what with only having 3 enemies at most and the game mode keep varying. I Could always just play team tactical with 2 newbs for ranking purposes and practice. i don't mind mt stats being affected.
