THE 3 MWG CLAN GAMES

This area is to discuss the "THREE MAIN CLAN GAMES" that the Clan Members participate in.

The 3 GAMES AGREED UPON BY THE COUNCIL AT THE MOMENT ARE:
1) CALL OF DUTY 4
2) GEARS OF WAR 2
3) CALL OF DUTY 5


These 3 games will stay as our CLAN GAMES for 4 months until (June 09) when we will take a vote on the 3 Games and any games the clan as a whole would like to take a Clan games place.

These games are not the only Clan Games we will ever play but its the MAIN STAY games that we will play in Clan Matches and for Fun Tournaments. Other games can still be arranged as usual and played on most nights.

This is the best way to make sure everybody in the Clan gets to play and participate in the fun together.
I know that some can't afford to buy many games, but if you think about it this is a good way to make sure people save their money and buy the games that everyone is playing instead of chops and changing all the time. Also with it only being 1 game every 3 months (maybe) changing that adds up to only £3-4 a week.


REGULATIONS OF GAMES IF IN MUPPET CLAN:

MUPPET MEMBER - Own at least 1 of the 3 MAIN CLAN GAMES

SENIOR MUPPET - Own at least 2 of the MAIN CLAN GAMES

MUPPET COUNCIL - Own ALL of the MAIN CLAN GAMES


I hope this doesn't seem to harsh to some people. The Council feels that itself should lead by example and the Senior Muppets should also show some dedication.

Hi I am new on the forums and notice you say the clan games were last due for review in febuary. I assume the games were kept the same that time so what is the likelyhood of them all changing after the next review (I am guessing that will be June). I have been planning to get one of the CoD games but would like to try and avoid badly timing my purchase with the game I get no longer being a core game as I am interested in possibly joining the clan in the near future. If a review is due soon and a change likely I may hold off till the review or the core games is done next.

yep main clan games are likely to be voted GEARS/CODWAW
Which means COD4 would be up for revote....

But in June will do first a vote on the 3 clan games (most popular) the bottom one then will be listed with 2-3 other games and people can revote it back in or vote different.

OK so only one game changes each review?, thats a good system to have. Especially since i want Gears 2 as well so I would be bound to have one after the vote .

Is it always shooters or do the game genres vary? (That maybe a daft question given the name of the clan i suppose)

think most shooters are easy to have clan matches on so they are the main ones - we do have clan matches on other games like fifa and the odd racer but not too many

we cnt get rid of cod4 what wud i be chiefta of, we just need to get in swing of things on cod4 wen xbox live is sorted, i think we should keep cod4 as main till warfare 2 comes out

I think we may add a 4th game to the mix instead.

Reason well the clan is pretty big now and many of us have large librarys. Before we had many people with small libraries and also not many members.

So maybe look at bringing a 4th in and still doing the vote thing but for the 4th game not 3rd. The 4th can be anything shooter, sport, arcade, etc etc...
But will look at this in June...

also just to point out if a game isn't in the 3 or 4 main games we can still do clan matches on them just let a member of the council know your preference and we'll sort something out

the 4 clan game rule is just to help out people on what to own as most played and also what to practise and setup comps mainly for...

For example we play Fifa, Street Fighter, Left For Dead clan matches...

well if its voted I guess but surely not...

I wont be allowing games to similar, only reason codw is allowed is its so different. Once cod4mod2 is released cod4 will not be allowed.
