Muppetry In Motion - March 2009 Edition

Hello Muppets! Ego here again, as I did the last newsletter I wanted to go one better and outdo it on this issue. Then the pressure got to me and I cracked, so just gonna go for understated simplicity on this, the famously difficult second album.

Spring is upon us and the weather is starting to pick up, bringing smiles from strangers and stirrings of, well stirrings. You really know that the winter has passed when you start to see girls belly buttons again.

Spring has also brought the muppets a wee bit of a clean up and a growth spurt. We are now closing in on 170 members and couldn't be happier about it. Myself and Boosh have made a pretty new badge, we hope you like it. Its not the definitive version and the LogoCompetition is still open for all to participate in. You may have also noticed a schedule with upcoming highlights and sign up links on the front of the forum. This is the start of Boosh's automatic revolution. Very impressive things on the horizon.

As usual we would like to give a big thanks to all our regulars. Been a lot of quality efforts behind the scenes and we really appreciate it. We'd also like to welcome all the new Muppets that have joined since the last newsletter. Hope your finding our furry little hole a comfortable and welcoming place to be. (I've been spending way too much time with Lemony, sorry)

For the new people here's a brief history of the clan.

The Muppets with Guns (MWG) were formed from the ashes of Ordinary Aged Gamers and Smokin' Aces. They merged together and created this amazing clan. The Clan formed with only 5 members but has gradually hunted down other Muppet Lovers and brought them back home.
The Muppets Clan is a fun clan that plays for the joy of playing together with other Muppets. We do play with the other alien clans and we do play some serious games and clan matches but mostly we like to play games with real Muppets.

The Muppet Council is TheMightyBoosh, Malfius, Dongziller, Egofilter, Lemony Vodka and Robafet!

Anything else you feel you want to share?
Well, what else to say? I got involved with the Muppets right at the beginning and purely by accident. Playing Pipeline one night - ever so slightly drunk you'll be surprised to hear - and (even though my short-term memory loss means I can't remember who it was exactly,
sorry guys) was playing with a couple of nice sounding chappies who were up for some communication and banter. At one point the opposition put a sniper in Little Joe's (building in the middle) me having no idea they even had names let alone what they were called decided I would
help by calling the building in question....."Brian"! "There's someone in Brian again!" "One's coming out the back of Brian" "Someone's poking out the bottom of Brian!" and other such bits of comedy genius on my part.......well it seemed funny at the time! It didn't help with tactics at all but it did mean the start of what has been a great journey into insanity....I mean into the nice side of gaming culture....that's what I meant.....as they pinged across some FRs and
that as they say was that. Since then it's just got better and better and may it long continue.
