Well after Izorpo posted up Chris Morris parody of Pixies.

I had to watch some old classic clips of him.
He is a fucking genius and shame hes not on TV much. In the 90's he was a huge influence on me...

Top top man...

Post any more vids in here and if you havent seent his guy go out and buy all his dvd's as he is a genius.

I met Chris Morris once. He was very nice, and very tall. Coincidence? Maybe.

I used to love The Day Today, a few of us used to quote it all the time.
The only sketch I remember from Blue Jam was the one where a woman called a plumber to fix her dead baby.

watch brass ye then mate...a current affairs piss take that just has you in stiches... they convinced a shit load of celebritites that there was a new manafactured drug on the market called 'cake'...and you had celebritites making videos to the public not to try cake and that it was a made up drug - and they did it! Questions were even asked in Parliament!

In the paedo episode they convinced Bruno Brookes among others that these sick f*cks had developed technology that meant the nonces could touch kids through a computer screen while being the other side of the world...and they fall for it hook line and sinker

see the one with the elephant that they claimed had its trunk stuck up its arse in a zoo in germany...the celebs that took all that and the following shit, and to see them trying to make public appeals for help for the elephant was unbelieveable

class show, brought the dvd a few years ago...gonna have to get it out again for a laugh with a few whiskeys...great night ahead

i have trouble watching the news after the day today/brass eye, sure its not as funny but parts seem too similar.

i liked him as the boss in the IT crowd also

loved the first series of IT crowd, but hated the 2nd and 3rd - really grated on me.

suprisingly ive never seen it, what would you say is its comedy ideal audiance? I love the inbetweeners, curb your enthusiasm, day today, little britain,.would it seem to fit in with my tastes?

Well, it's by one of the writers of Father Ted, so has some very silly and surreal elements.
In fact, most of it is like that.

didn't care for the IT Crowd - Nathan Baley was a bit weak but really enjoyed Brass Eye and The Day Today - Chris Morris is a genius - when I first moved over here - the evil cupid and The Hubb inundated me with so much British tele - to get rid of any traces of americana that remained.

the paedo episode was brilliant really enjoyed the drugs one as well - who am I kidding the entire series was brilliant.

I think one of the reasons he's not on is he seems to really annoy some people - I think until the last couple of years he held the record for complaints - in case anyone forgot what all the fuss was about - found this on youtube
